Working as the sole UX and UI designer for a small R&D team outside the studio and IT environments working within a mobile focused division.
Goal:
Determine the vehicle's 4 year old hardware capability to display modern mobile apps. Design a usable vehicle application, compliant to driver's distraction laws.
Solution:
Initially resistance to the design below was strong from the highest level of the design studio and executives given its deviation from existing vehicle designs.
